Staff Selection Commission has notified the dates for the Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam 2012 in Central Armded Police Forces and Assistant Sub Inspector Recruitment in Central Industrial Security Forces. List of Forces and vacancies are following:
SI in Central Armed Polie Forces (CAPF):
1. Central Reserve Police Force- 559 (282 UR, 151 OBC, 84 SC, 42 ST)
2. Border Security Force (Male)- 280 (143 UR, 75 OBC, 41 SC, 21 ST)
3. Border Security Force (Female)- 15 (9 UR, 3 OBC, 2 SC, 1 ST)
4. Indo Tibet Border Police- 470 (267 UR, 103 OBC, 62 SC, 38 ST)
5. Central Industrial Security Force (Male)- 480 (245 UR, 129 OBC, 71 SC, 35 ST,)
6. Central Industrial Security Force (Female)- 53 (29 UR, 14 OBC, 7 SC, 3 ST)
ASI in Central Industrial Security Force
Male- 304 ( 153 UR, 82 OBC, 46 SC, 23 ST, 30 Ex Servicemen)
Female- 34 ( 19 UR, 9 OBC, 4 SC, 2 ST)
Pay Scale:
SI in CAPF/ CPO- Rs.9300- 34800 (GP 4200)
ASI in CISF- 5200- 20200 (GP 2800)
Age Limit- Candiates must be between the age of 20 to 25 years on 16th March 2012
Education- Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC/ AICTE recognized institution or university.

This notification was published on 17th February 2012. Last date of application submission is 16th March 2012. The written exams are scheduled to take place on 27th May 2012.

sir, i was willing to try for IO in NCB but SSC has not notified it in the advt. Should I still apply and hope that SSC will include IO also in this recruitment later on?

No, it is not expected to happen, If they have to notify or include NCB in the present notification they will publish a notification but you should applyfor the vacancies that are notified ie CAPF SI, CISF ASI.
Respected sir, Can I apply the both post I mean sub – inspector and Assistant sub-inspector in SSC CPO 2012 at a time
what will be the first .written test or physical test.
As i aplied for SI & ASI in CAPF ssc exam 2012…..but till now i did not recieved Admit Card for the same….pls suggest!!!

Sir, if possible please give the aspirant a valid helpline number for north east region so that we can inquire first hand information.Also please enclosed the necessary format alone with the admit card as for this time it is missing for example like attestation form, bio data sheet whatsoever or make it somewhere in the corner of the webpage so that the aspirant can downloaded conveniently.

i present obc certificate of u.p. level…so they put on general catogry………
sir,, i want to know that i hve got 50 marks at pre exam according to obc ,i m qwalified but the genral cutt off is 54mrks in pre xam ,,so from obc catogarie i foll on genral catogarie so i want to know that this can effect my selection………i wannt to know that in this case they se my final mrks(1st+2nd+interview)or they let me out by seeing my pre xam mrks……..
