Delhi Police has published notification for the recruitment of Constable (Driver) in the pay band of Rs. 5200- 20200 (GP 2000). Details of this recruitment are following:
Vacancies: 752 (299 UR, 181 OBC, 192 SC, 80 ST)
Education: 10th Board Pass.
Driving Skills: Must have valid HTV driving license
Physical Requirements:
Height 170cm, Chest 81cm with 4cm expansion.
Age Limit: 21 to 30 years on 1st January 2012.
Physical Test:
Candidates will have to complete race of 1600 meters in 7 minutes, Long Jump of 12.5 feet and high jump of 3.5 ft.
Candidates who qualify in the PET or Physical Test would be called for the written exams. After the written exams candidates will have to appear in the trade test.
Trade Test:
Skills of Forward, Reverse, Parking and knowledge of traffic signs and basic rules.
