According to the result data only 7 percent candidates have passed the examination . In total 7.85 lakh candidates had taken the exam out of which only 55 422 candidates were able to pass it.
This result of CTET is worse than June 2011 in which 9 percent candidates passed the examination. Marks/ Merit List of CTET would be used for the recruitment of teachers in Central Schools, Navodaya Schools and schools run by the government.
